- Can Search+ answer questions across multiple PDFs?Yes. Ask a question at the workspace level and Search+ draws on every document in that workspace, with a citation for each source it uses.
- Can I limit a question to one document?Yes. Narrow the scope of a question to a single document in your workspace when the answer should come only from that one file.
- Does Search+ show where an answer came from?Yes. Search+ answers include inline citations that point to the source document and the supporting excerpt, and you can open a citation to read it.
- How do I check where a claim in an answer comes from?Open the inline citation next to the claim to read the excerpt from your document that it is based on, with a page or section when available.
- Does Search+ make up citations?Search+ citations point to passages it retrieved from your own documents, and it does not invent page or section locations that a document does not contain.
- Can Search+ give a wrong answer?Yes. AI-generated answers can be incomplete or inaccurate, and Search+ does not guarantee that any answer is correct or complete.
- Can Search+ compare two documents?Yes. Put both PDFs in a workspace and ask Search+ to compare them, and it points out where they agree and differ with a citation to each source.

Documents and uploads
- How many PDFs can I upload to Search+ at once?You can drag and drop up to 10 PDFs at a time into a Search+ workspace. To add more, upload another batch, and the new files join the same workspace.
- How long does it take Search+ to process a PDF?There is no fixed time: how long Search+ takes to process an uploaded PDF depends on the size and the structure of that file.
- Can I keep working while my files upload?Yes. Uploads continue in the background while you keep working, and each file shows whether it is queued, processing, indexed or failed.
- Can I add more documents to a workspace later?Yes. Upload more PDFs to an existing workspace whenever the project grows, and once they are indexed, workspace-wide questions can draw on them too.
- Can AI read a PDF and answer questions about it?Yes. AI document tools extract the text from a PDF, find the passages related to your question and write an answer from them.

- How do I find an earlier conversation in Search+?Open your conversation history in Search+ and reopen the thread you need, or search your past conversations by name to find it faster.
- Can I keep separate workspaces for different projects?Yes. Create a workspace for each project in Search+, and each one keeps its own documents, Workspace Context and conversations.
- Can I archive a workspace in Search+?Yes. Archive a workspace when a project is finished to move it out of your active list. You can also rename a workspace at any time.
