How is Search+ different from a basic PDF chatbot?
A basic PDF chatbot answers questions about one file in one conversation, while Search+ keeps your PDFs and conversations in a saved workspace. You choose the scope of each question, standing instructions apply to every answer, and citations show the excerpts behind it.
Many PDF chat tools are built around a single upload and a single conversation. Search+ is built around a workspace that lasts as long as the project: you add documents over time, return to earlier conversation threads, and ask questions that span several documents at once.
Three things change in practice. You can ask across every document in a workspace or narrow a question to one document. Workspace Context lets you write instructions once, such as terminology or evidence standards, and they apply to every question in that workspace. And each answer carries inline citations you can open to read the supporting excerpt.
For tasks that span a whole set of sources, Search+ also has Deep Analysis, currently in beta.
