Does Search+ show where an answer came from?

Yes. Search+ answers include inline citations that point to the source document and the supporting excerpt, and you can open a citation to read it. Page or section references appear when the document provides them.

Citations are attached to the parts of the answer they support, not listed at the end. Open one to read the excerpt from your document that the statement is based on.

Search+ does not invent page or section locations that the document does not contain. If a PDF has no usable page or heading information for a passage, the citation still names the document and shows the excerpt.

Based on how citations are built and displayed in Search+, October 2026.
