Can I keep working while my files upload?

Yes. Uploads continue in the background while you keep working, and each file shows whether it is queued, processing, indexed or failed. Files become part of answers once they are indexed.

You can open other workspaces, read earlier conversations or ask questions about documents that are already indexed while new ones are processed.

A practical pattern for a large project: upload the core documents first, start asking about them once they are indexed, and add the rest while you read the first answers. A workspace-wide question only uses files that have finished processing, so ask again later if an answer should include a late file.
